FAQ’s
What about the Coronavirus?
As this is an online class, it’s designed to have no in-person aspect.

What software will you use? How will we get access to the online class?
Zoom – prior to the class starting, we’ll send through a link to all participants.
Before your first class, please log in 15 mins prior to ensure your device is all set up and ready to go. Details instructions will be sent prior to the class on how to use the software.

Do students need a camera/microphone to attend?
No. However to get the best value from the course we do encourage this, as they are interactive – most smartphone and laptops have the required capabilities already build in. If you are uncomfortable with your child doing online classes, you are welcome to turn off the video function.

Where can we participate from?
The course is designed for students anywhere in Australia – it is entirely online.

What is a Creative Kids Voucher?
The NSW government is giving each school aged child with a Medicare card a $100 voucher to be used on creative arts programs with registered providers. You can find out more, and apply online here.

We do not accept Active Kids Vouchers.

How much do we need to pay?
The workshop is $130, which can be mostly covered by a Creative Kids Voucher. If you use a voucher, then you just need to pay $30.
If you cancel the enrolment, unfortunately the voucher is non-refundable.

What do we bring?

Attend using a smart phone or computer via our online web portal (details will be emailed to you in the enrolment confirmation).
A lead pencil
colouring in pencils or crayons
A4 paper to draw on (or a scrapbook)
have a water bottle close by
we will ask you to bring objects, make some props or bring costumes from home

What if my Creative Kids Voucher isn’t valid? (I’m not sure if I’ve used it yet…)
We will get in contact for the remainder of the payment to be paid online via credit card prior to the class. If this isn’t paid within 48 hrs, we will cancel the enrolment.

I have another child who would like to join - do they have to pay?
No, BUT there are a few conditions we are quite strict on:
1) Maximum of one other sibling – this is an interactive class so we do still have to manage capacity. This is not valid for visiting friends.
2) They have to join with the same internet connection/device (so be in the same place at the same time)
3) They have to be within the same age range - content is tailored specifically to different age groups so we are quite strict on this.
You do not need to do an additional enrolment for them.

Do parents sit in on the class?
Parents and carers can observe their children for these online classes and be nearby providing overall supervision.
